For the 2026 NIA national insulator show in Helena, MT, I put together a display about the history of the CD 565.1 insulators. The display is shown below. Since obviously reading the text on the panels isn’t the easiest to read from the photos, I’ve linked the PDFs they were printed from below.

Awards

Honestly, for my first display ever, I was shocked at how well it did. It won the Marilyn Albers Worldwide category award, the Milholland Educational Award, the Central Florida Insulator Club’s award for best first time exhibitor at a national, and the Steve Blair “Best in Show” award.
